Lebron James was spotted in a bright orange Jeep wrangler leaving Lucky Strike Bowling Alley in Miami wearing a Blessed Label fitted cap (seen below in black w/tiger camo detailing $40). Blessed Label is an Akron, Ohio based brand that was established in 2005 and blends skate, hip-hop, punk and street art to create designs with a regional perspective. It’s good to see Lebron reppin’ for his hometown, even though his Miami Heat team returns to Cleveland tomorrow night to what’s expected to be a very unruly crowd.
The Nike Air Jordan Retro 11 “Cool Grey” sneakers ($175) are definitely one of the most anticipated and hyped sneakers ever. With their release today online and at select retail stores worldwide, I’m sure that they’re at the top of every sneaker heads Christmas list. What do you think? As you may or may not have heard, Jay-Z is releasing an autobiographical book titled “Decoded” ($35) that covers his life from a rough childhood to hip hop mogul. To stir up some buzz, Jay- Z teamed up with Microsoft through Bing for a scavenger hunt of select pages from his book, which were hidden in different cities around the world. Gucci participated in Jay-Z’s little game of hide and seek by creating an exclusive leather bomber jacket with two pages from the book on the interior lining. The jacket was designed by Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini and will remain in the NYC Fifth Avenue flagship store window until the book goes on sale tomorrow Nov. 16th. Finally, after the book is released, the one-of-kind leather jacket will be given to Jay-Z as a gift.
It started off with just a few, and now almost everyone who keeps up with the trends owns a pair of the popular Beats by Dr. Dre headphones. He confessed that he couldn’t help himself and had to buy something from the Colette store, and the customized iPad was the only choice. Now Mr. Williams has an iPad for any occasion – the original silver aluminum iPad with a $390 Louis Vuitton Monogram case for the day, and a black iPad for the night.
2010 thus far was filled to the brim with Air Jordan Retro releases; the Air Jordan VI and Air Jordan IX saw seven separate releases each, and we’re not even counting the kids colorways. Even yesterday, Sneaker News broke the news about the Air Jordan II ‘Candy Pack’ slated for a release later this year. It was time to step aside and take in Retro influx, but it looks like Jordan Brand isn’t done yet; a rumored re-release of the Air Jordan XIII (13) ‘Altitude’ is expected to drop sometime during the Holiday season. The Altitudes dropped in February of 2005, which makes the re-release of a somewhat recent shoe questionable considering the number of Air Jordan XIIIs that have yet to see a second at-bat.
Also rumored for a Summer 2011 release is the Air Jordan III (3) True Blue and the Air Jordan VII (7) Cardinal. The Cardinal was even more recent than the Altitudes, releasing just four years ago in the summer of 2006 alongside the “Flint” VII. The True Blue III did indeed release just last year as an Asia-only release, but this is one re-release we can wholly agree on as a stateside drop-date seems probable. Also confirmed for Summer 2011 is the Air Jordan VII Bordeaux which has been pushed back to from its original early 2011 ETA. With all these releases in the books, Jordan Brand is taking a completely relentless approach with the Retros, giving Jordan-heads almost no time to make decisions. Will you cop them all? The show was hosted by Seth Meyers of "Saturday Night Live". Throughout the night he made jokes about Tiger Woods, the Kardashians, and LeBron.
Meyer's said of Tiger Woods, "We all know which free agent is making the most money this summer.....Elin Nordegren(Woods wife)."
The host also shared how he felt about LeBron's 'The Decision' special saying, "Did it really need to be an hour? Somebody time me. Miami. How long did that take? A second !".
Steve Carell and Paul Rudd also made a parody of the decision, which you can watch below
Other celebrities took the time to comment on Mel Gibson situation.
Bobby Brown said, "My take on it is, as long as he didn't say it to me. I just don't appreciate him putting his hands on a woman."
Amare Stoudamire, who just signed a 5 year, $100 million contract with the New York Knicks, said, "Mel's a great actorand I wish he was just a little more professional."
Janelle Monae also performed throughout the show.
All jokes and commentary aside, the biggest winners of the night were the New Orleans Saints, taking home the award for 'Best Team'. Their quarterback, Drew Brees, also won four trophies.
The reigning NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant won the award for 'Best NBA Player'.
Chris Johnson of the Tennessee Titans won the 'Best Breakthrough Athlete' award and made sure to include his Twitter name in his acceptance speech.
Floyd Mayweather won 'Best Fighter' and Serena Williams won the award for 'Best Female Tennis Player'.
#1 NBA Draft pick John Wall won the 'Best Male College Athlete' and UConn basketball star Maya Moore won 'Best Female College Athlete'.

AKRON, Ohio -- LeBron James has made one decision -- he joined Twitter.
The NBA's most ballyhooed free agent opened an account on the social networking site Tuesday. Publicist Keith Estabrook confirmed the moniker kingjames is indeed LeBron.
James had been reluctant to join Twitter or Facebook and had even joked in the past about how other athletes discussed their personal lives online.
Close friend Chris Paul posted on Twitter at midday Tuesday that while he couldn't persuade James to tell him which team he'll sign with, he talked him into joining the service.
Less than an hour after Paul's tweet, James had nearly 18,000 followers -- even though he had yet to make a single post.
